I was born in Suriname. At an early age, I emigrated to the Netherlands with my family. I always had a passion for travel, but now I decided to go all the way. With a bachelor’s in my pocket, I worked for a number of years in accountancy in Miami, Suriname and the Caribbean – a great experience!
Now I’m working on finishing my studies. I had rather a difficult time when I first returned. Life here in the Netherlands is so different – hurried and fully planned. I find that a shame. Life is much more fun when there’s room for spontaneity, if we really take the time to have contact with each other.”
